Cecily strong

Cecily Legler Strong is a popular American stand-up comic and actor famous as a prominent character on the show 'Saturday Night Live'. Her acting career began in the theater however, she found herself attracted to comedy after she took an improv workshop at 9 years old. She initially set out to become an actor, but soon she discovered that her real passion is comedy. After that, she shifted her focus to performing in improv. Her first professional gig was aboard a cruise vessel, singing with the other performers of Second City Conservatory & iO Chicago. Strong has performed in popular events, such as Chicago Sketch Fest. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. New York Sketchfest. and Virgin Daiquiri. Virgin Daiquiri is an all female Improv group. Strong made her mark in 2012 when she debuted on "Saturday night Live" its 39th Season as a guest cast member as a co-host of the Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. The most memorable moment for Cecily during the series was the role she played in 'The Girl You'd Rather Not Engaged in a Conversation With at a Dinner Party'. The same year, she made her debut in the film industry in the film 'How to Sponsor a Uterus.
