Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese origin, and her dad, Winston Barrett Munn, comes from a family that has long-standing roots within the American South. The couple split at the age of 2 years old. Her mother raised her and her stepfather, who is an United States Air Force officer. Her primary residence was Tokyo, Japan, even although the family moved frequently. During this time, Olivia participated in various local theater productions. In later years, she became a Japanese model. Olivia, who had been living with her parents in Los Angeles in order to fulfill her desire to become an actress was determined to pursue her goal after the family moved back to America. She started her acting career with a small role. Then, her career began to take off after she was cast in the role of Mily Acuna on the Hawaii-lensed TV show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she appeared as Rob Schneider's Receptionist. She hosts "The Daily Nut" and"Formula D," the "Formula D" podcasts on G4. After the television series Beyond the Break, she has continued to surf. She has also earned a black belt for taekwondo. When she was just two years old, her mother got married again and this time, with the same US Air Force member. Although the family moved many times, the bulk of her time was spent in Tokyo Japan, the location that her stepfather was employed by the military. She was a journalist at the University of Oklahoma and also studied Japanese drama, dramatic arts, and drama.
