Coleman is from Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool as head girl. She scored all As for her A level examinations. She is disappointed that she did not receive a standard college education in her discussion of her experience at Emmerdale. While at school Coleman was a member of the theatre group In Yer Space with whom she played at the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. It was the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated her in both categories: Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman won a TV Choice Award nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman, who had replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor following Arthur Darvill left the series she would play the role with Matt Smith. Moffat chose to choose her for the role because she has the most chemistry Smith. Also, she spoke quicker than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the field of film since 1987. But she's been more prominent on TV as opposed to films. Eva has played a variety of parts on the screen, but two stand out: The role of Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as Detective Natalia Boa Vistas' in CSI Miami.
