Born and raised within Brisbane Australia. The daughter of the British father. Clemens began working as an actor on Australian TV while she was at high school. She guest starred on an episode of Blue Water High, as Juliet, in 2006. In 2007, she played Alison on Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji. Clemens was the lead character of Harper on Love My Way, a Showtime drama that in the same year. In the same role, she was nominated for the Graham Kennedy Award at the Logie Awards 2008 for Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens was in the film Dream Life in 2008. MTV Networks Australia dramatic film Dream Life alongside Sigrid Thornton Xavier Samuel Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane.She played small roles on the TV series All Saints and the film X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009. Clemens was featured in Luke Evans' 2012 horror film, The film No One Lives. The actress also starred in The Great Gatsby (2013) the film that was inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's book that has the same title. Catherine Wilson was the elder sister of Myrtle Wilson portrayed by Isla Fisher. Clemens is Tawney in Rectify the film from 2013 Sundance Channel miniseries developed by Ray McKinnon.
