Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and author who won several awards. Her work has received acclaim for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). Growing up in an artistic family living in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of art. After working as assistant to photographers then she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. The actress was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international notoriety, along with an Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. After just three short films MacGraw was named one of the most successful women at the box office in history. In 1972, her foot-prints as well as autograph was recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw is divorced three times.
